UPDATE: I got my crown. I was completely numb so I didn't feel any pain, but just a lot of vibration in my mouth and very loud noises. I am so glad it's over with! I have to go back in three weeks to get the permanent one put on. Then it will be time for oral surgery to get my wisdom teeth taken out. I'm already dreading it. And I don't even have an appointment for a consultation yet. Ugh! My jaw is pretty much killing me. I have a very slight case of TMJ and holding my mouth open that wide for so long was very painful. Dr. Henson told me to take some Motrin for the next few days because I will be sore. Glad it's over with...for now.
I get my crown. I only wish it was a beautiful crown with jewels to place on my head. That would be a lot less painful. I admit that I am scared, so please say a little prayer (or a big one if you wish) this morning. I just hate the dentist. Not the man. I love my doctor, but I just hate things in my mouth. My teeth are sensitive, so it is just no fun. I as said in this post, I would rather go to the girl doctor and have a you-know-what and a you-know-what. Seriously. That’s how much I hate it! I go in at 9:00. My mom told me to memorize Scripture to pass the time and take my mind off of the procedure and put it on the Lord. The One who we can trust to be there to answer our cries for help. So I am going to try to do that. Hopefully it will give me the peace that I need.
Now, can I just say how proud I am of Sarah Palin and her brilliant speech last night? She spoke with such great poise. She’s no rookie politician as Brit Hume from FOX News put it! And as Senator McCain came out at the end, he was obviously very proud of her! There has been such frenzy about her and my heart has gone out to her and her family. It brought tears to my eyes as she spoke to the parents of special needs children when she said, “If elected, you will have a friend in the White House.” The way that she chided Barack Obama was funny and very terrific. Although this speech was written for her, she delivered with sophistication and brilliance. She looked very natural through it and I believe she truly wants to serve the people of the United States of America.

I pray your day goes well. I really like your mom's suggestion.
Hope it went well at the dentist!
I LOVED Sarah Palin's speech last night. I am such a huge fan of her. She's remarkable and I am thrilled that she will hopefully be our next VP. And I'm totally with you...this pregnant girl was totally crying during her speech! I heard on Fox News today that a lot of her speech she had to ad lib because the promptor wasn't working properly. Did I mention that I really like her ? :)
