Well, I had intented on blogging about the boy's birthday party, but we didn't have very many pictures and I wanted to wait till I got a copy of my grandmother's pictures to add to mine. You can view all the pictures at The Boy's 3rd Birthday or over to the right in my Snapfish files. He wanted a construction birthday party. He LOVES all the construction trucks! No one around here had a construction birthday cake, so I just custom ordered one from Sam's Club. They just made the cake and iced it the way I wanted it, and the I decorated it and added the "dirt". I put Oreos in my food processor to make dirt. I though the cake turned out adorable! Thanks to Emily, my mom, and Jim for their help! We had the party at a park and the kids had a great time playing on the playground. The boy got a TON of trucks, and not one duplicate. Can you believe that? He has had a ton of fun playing with them!
Sorry, I'm a little wierd about my kids' names being on the WWW, so I had to block out his name on the cake, but you get the idea. Isn't it adorable?

Love the cake! You're so creative!! I was just going to let you know that when you click the picture to enlarge it, it shows what you saved it as...revealing the boys name. Just trying to be helpful. Hope y'all are great!

Looks like it was a successful party! I'm sure he will get many hours of joy from all his trucks. One of our friends has a 3 yr old boy and he is really into trains. He will play with them for hours. :)
