Pray for me

**UPDATE: I just got home from the dentist. It's bad. I have to get a crown on that tooth. Ugh! I go September 4th to get a mold made and a temporary crown put on. Then I go back about 3 weeks later to get the permanent one on. Makes me feel like an old lady having to get a crown. I grind and clench my teeth at night. I've been told that before. I had a guard that I slept in when I was in highschool, but it was bright pink and HUGE and I just stopped wearing it. Well, Dr. Henson said that after I get this crown, I probably need to get a guard to sleep in to protect my other teeth. This tooth was already weakened from a large filling and he said the grinding and clenching at night isn't doing any good for a week tooth. With insurance, it's going to cost us like $500. Ouch. And I'll have nothing to show for it. You can't even see it when I smile. Darn!

This year is going to be an enormous dental bill. I've still got to get my wisdom teeth out. Plus the crown. Plus the occlusal guard. My bank account is crying.

I've had this sharp point on one of my back teeth for about a week. Today, I finally got my tooth mirror out and looked at it. It looks like I have a fracture in my tooth. I have a filling in the tooth, but it doesn't look like it even touches the filling. It's my tooth. It doesn't hurt, but I called the dentist anyway. I'm going in the morning at 8:30 (Tuesday morning), so if you think of me, please say a prayer. I HATE going to the dentist. Dr. Henson is wonderful and very gentle and he's actually one of our friends from church, but I just hate the actual dentist part of it. Even for a cleaning. I hate it. To be real honest with you, I would much rather go to the Gynocologist and have a you know what and a you know what done.

I'm dreading going in the morning. I'm afraid they are going to have to do some major work and I'm scared, to say the least. And he's been telling me I need to get my wisdom teeth out, but I'm such a chicken. I've got to make an appointment to get that done. Seriously.

Ugh. Pray for me.

I'm praying, Baby....I don't remember you hating to go to Dr. Ongkingco (or rather, Dr. Old King Cole as you called him) when you were young. I hate going to the dentist, too. I'll be praying for you. Send me a text when you get out of the meeting. I'll be in my room except for a short meeting.

Oh Ash! I am sorry. I HATE having to spend money on things like that. Last year, we ended up spending loads of money on dental bills and I felt the same way...nothing to show for it! That and cars. I hate having to spend money on cars! I cannot believe you'd rather go to the gyno than the dentist. You're crazy! I don't enjoy the dentist either, but I'd much rather go there than go have an extra yearly you-know-what! I grind my teeth at night, too. Collin will wake me up sometimes in the night because he cannot sleep over my intense grinding! We must have lots of aggression built up that we try to release in the middle of the night!

Sorry you're having so much teeth drama! I love you!
