Last Thursday, my sister Anna, the kids, and I drove to Oklahoma to visit our baby sister, Erin and her family. We had a great time. We didn't get there until midnight Thursday night and came home Sunday evening. It was so fun getting to hang out with her and play with her babies! The new baby has grown so much and is just the sweetest thing. He is a little chunk, too, which we love! He's the first chunky baby we've had; both of mine and Erin's oldest were scrawny little things. It's fun to have some thighs to squeeze! :) I love it! Also, Erin's oldest loves to play his harmonica. His daddy is actually pretty good at it and plays "Twinkle, Twinkle", "Oh, Susanna", and a few others for him at bedtime. Yeah, isn't that sweet? Anyway, they got a harmonica for the boy for his birthday and he LOVES it. So here's a video of the boys playing their 'monicas' as they call them.
And now that I've started blogging, a ton of things have come to mind that I need to blog about, so stay tuned, because there will probably be more posts just in the next few days!
P.S. I got my permanent crown put on today. After they put it in, they gave me a mirror to let me see it. They asked me how it looked and I said that it sure doesn't look like $1,000! It should have some diamonds in it or something. Good grief! Do you know how many purses and shoes I could buy with that much money. It's disheartening. But it's over with, praise God! Now I guess I need to make an appointment for my wisdom teeth. YIKES!!!
