Well, it is Wednesday now and I haven't posted since Monday. I am falling behind. I've got to get back on this thankfulness highway because there is SO much to be thankful for.
First of all, I am thankful for my naps. I absolutely love to take a good nap. Especially on Sunday afternoon; those are the best. Now, I must be honest with you...I usually take a nap every day while my kids nap. I know, you might think it's terrible, but I have noticed that on the days that I don't take a nap, I am exhausted come 9:00 and have no time with my groom. I usually sit down on my very comfortable and cozy red couch and start reading. Most of the time, I make it maybe 2 pages through and the book starts closing. Naps are refreshing to me and I am very thankful for my naps.
Secondly, I am very thankful for my mom and dad. They live here in town and so we see them pretty often, sometimes every day. However, we hadn't seen them since Saturday. That is a long time for me! I am very much a family girl and love to be with my family. So tonight, Jim had to go help a friend after work, so as soon as he left, the kids and I ran over to mom and dad's house before heading to church. Not seeing them since Saturday, they were very excited to see the kids, and even me! :) I know they still love me, but the girl and the boy come before me now. That's alright though! My parents have been the greatest support and have loved me so unconditionally. I'm their favorite, right girls? Anna, Em, and Erin, you know I am. Haha! Just kidding. Mom and Dad love us all equally in different ways, the way a parent is supposed to love their children. (*whisper* But I'm still their favorite.) I am certainly looking forward to Thanksgiving when we will ALL be together. Yes, all of us! There will be 13 of us including the kids, plus my grandparents, so that's 3 more. 16!!! It is going to be great family time! I am so thankful that we all get along and there really is ZERO drama around. Mom and Dad raised us right. I love you, Mom and Dad!!! You are the best parents in the world! Thank you for loving me and family so much.

Isn't it a blessing to have a strong family (especially these days!)? I, too, am blessed w/ great parents who are still happily married. AND I'm thankful that I got to know your parents a little bit as well.
How big is the turkey going to be to feed 16 people?????
Nice try Ash.... Mom always tells me I'm her favorite when you're not around! ;-)
