Two days of Thankfulness

I missed posting my thankfulness yesterday. I did say in my post yesterday about not getting my wisdom teeth out how sweet my sister Anna was...when we got back home, she had already made my ice packs and set up the couch with pillows and blankets. It was all ready for me. So I am so thankful for her caring heart. She loves my kids, too, and my kids adore her. She is fun to be around and is very stylish, too! :) She and her hubby Stephen came over last night and we played Blokus. It was fun! We love playing that game. I love you, Anna!

Today, I am thankful for prayer warriors. I had so many people call me or message me or leave me a comment saying they were praying for me as I got my wisdom teeth out. Even though it didn't happen, it meant so much to me. More than you will know. I think the power of prayer is so often underestimated. I know I underestimate its power. Elijah was a man of prayer. He prayed that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Then, he prayed again, and it rained and the earth produced its crops. God listens to prayers, answers prayers, and moves in response to prayers. I will be honest to say that my prayer life has suffered, but I long for that communication with God. It is powerful and can change your life. So, today, I am thankful for prayer warriors who have prayed for me. Thank you.
