Missionaries

Today I am thankful for missionaries. Most of you know I grew up as a missionary kid. My parents were career missionaries with the International Mission Board in the Philippines for over 12 years. I loved growing up overseas. It gives me a totally different perspective on the life I live now. I often reminisce and count my blessings.

This morning, our church had the opportunity to pray over a family and commission them. They are a strong family from our church. They are going to Ghana as full time missionaries for two years and will see where God leads them from there. He is an OB/GYN and will be working at a hospital there that is partly run by the International Mission Board. Please pray for Joel and Hollie Dickens and their two children Colt and Abigail.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
