I titled this post first, but I think I'm gonna do a little praisin' before I tell you about our weekend. You might remember the end of this post when I asked to pray that when the adjuster came out to look at their roof, he would see the need for it to be replaced from the hail damage (since they are going to have to have a new roof before they sell the house). Well, the adjuster came today and totaled the roof (and the gutters and some screens on the windows)!!! Praise the Lord! And for more than what it will cost to get a brand new one! Isn't God good?! I am so thankful for this blessing the Lord has granted Erin and her family. They have remained faithful in trusting God through all of this and He has blessed them tremendously. Hallelujah! We serve an awesome God!
Weekending was great! Some great friends of ours that used to live here but have since moved away came back for a visit. It was a wonderful time of reminiscing and making new memories. The Knutsons have three boys and they have all grown up so much! Heidi was a bridesmaid in my wedding and Brad was a groomsmen. They were some great friends of mine before Jim and I even met, and were there when Jim proposed to me. Jim and I used to hang out at their house and play with the boys and stay up late and talk to Brad and Heidi. Unfortunately, Brad did not get to come, but we still had a grand time! On Sunday, Heidi planned a reunion of sort (thanks to Facebook and being able to get in touch with everyone) of friends from our old church that we were in Sunday School with. It was so much fun getting to see everyone and all their kids. All the kids were SO grown up, it is crazy! You recognize that your kids are growing, but when you get together with friends you haven't seen in a long time and see how grown up their kids are, it is mind-boggling! Here are some pictures from the weekend.
Heidi and me
All the kids...so grown up!
The women!

Me and the boys - Look how big they are! (Or maybe I'm just small!)
[Okay, I'm about to go crazy because the captions for the pictures will not center. Ugh! Sometimes I really hate blogger. Sorry. I've tried to correct it and totally redo them and it still won't. Just look past the imperfection - you know, since I'm perfect and all. Whatever!!!]
