October 15th

I did not know this but today is National Day of Remebrance for pregnancy and infant loss. This includes all babies who have died because of miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS, or any other infant death.

I know most of you read Bring the Rain and know Angie and Todd's story of their loss of Audrey Caroline. And I know several others who have lost a baby and every story is tragic to me. The Lord has blessed me and I have not had to endure a loss such as this, but that doesn't make it any less tragic in my heart. The thought alone makes me cry.

If you are one of these women who have endured the loss of a child, visit Angie's blog. She has something wonderful at her blog today. She asked anyone who would like to share and be prayed for to leave a comment with their story. Reading through some of the stories makes my heart ache.

I'm praying today.

I was not aware of this day of rememberance, either. Thank you for drawing attention to it and praying.
For those of us who have lost a child, every day is a day of rememberance. Thankfully, God graces us with everyday miracles to lighten the burdon. His blessings really are new every morning.
I love you, Ash!

2 things...

1. I read your post and was able to pray on this day. Thanks for informing us.

2. I, too, think we could be great friends. Maybe someday we'll meet!

...the end
