Happy Mother's day!
Today is a day to honor our mothers and I just want to take a minute to honor my mother. A beautiful woman who has raised 4, yes, I said 4, girls! She married my father young and tried to have a baby for a while. After 8 years, she finally had me! (Then 3 more!) I am so blessed to have such an unselfish, unconditional, sacrificial mother. Growing up, I never remember (correct me if I'm wrong, Mom) being "embarrassed" of her. I was always very proud to call her my mom. To this day, she is my best friend. And I am so thankful that she lives in the same town as me so I can see her often! She has prayed for me, sang to me, hugged me, and she is always there for me. I am so grateful to God for giving me a mother that I can trust and lean on no matter what!
