You guys are killing me...

I told myself long ago that I was not going to get sucked into the BLOG world, and I still am holding to that. I think I have looked at Ashley's blog more times in the last four days to check the voting status, than I have in the past few years she has been doing this. She has become a great bi-vocational career woman and you think I would be more interested in her "profession". Super stay-at-home mommy during the day, professional blogger/Facebooker by night.

Anyway, back to my point. I need more long hair votes!!! I have tried to log in multiple times to rig the voting system, but apparently, they know what they are doing with cookies so I cannot vote more than once from my computer. I may be forced to take over some people's computers here at work and fabricate some long hair votes. Would that be ethical???? My lovely wife is just loving the fact that apparently her entire network of friends is with her in this haircut crisis. I call it a crisis because I am desperately losing this fight.

I have a few arguments to add to my debate:

1. I know it takes time more time to fix long hair, but isn't worth it? She is always wanting more quality alone time from the kids during the course of the day, and from what I know, the kids never mess with her while she blow dries her hair. It is too loud and hot in there. So this would be the perfect time to get a few more minutes of "tranquility" away from the kids by default, right?
2. I will even buy her a new blow dryer (she has been saying she does not like the current one). I would even splurge for a fancy one. Maybe we can even find one of those old school beauty shop blow dryer dome chairs at a garage sell. Then she could get peace and quiet and do her bible study all in one. Brilliant!
3. I would even grow my hair out with her. You know, like sympathy pains when your wife is pregnant. I am willing to do that for my loved one...
4. With the money we would save on haircuts, we could buy her that new fossil purse that she wants. I would even consider one of those corney matching wallets to go with it.
5. It is so easy to just push that little button over there that says "Grow it out". Just a little clicky of the little mousey thing....come on....you know you want to. You will never know what it feels like until you have tried it. Everyone is doing it... (well, apparently not everyone, or I would not be writing this)....but everyone COOL is doing it.
6. If you just do me this little favor, I will stay off of the blog so you all can get back to constructive conversation. Atleast I think that is what it is...
