Not me! Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week. This is not my first try at this "Not me!" Monday thing, and I am so not nervous about it all! Nope, not me!

I was not in so much pain today from having my wisdom teeth taken out (10 days prior) and I did not have this red spot show up on my jawline right where the pain was that made me worry that I had an infection. Nope, not me!I did not call the doctor and go in to see him only to find out that I do have an infection. He did not pack it with medicated gauze (that tastes like cloves) and presribe an antibiotic for me. I did not get lightheaded while he was packing the socket and ask for a wet paper towel. They did not lay my chair back flat and make me lay there for about 20 minutes. Nope, not me! Not this wimp! The very kind doctor did not call me just a little while ago on my cell phone to make sure that was I feeling better.

And I did not go buy some instant mashed potatoes night before last because I still can't eat regular food. I have not eaten instant mashed potatoes for my last three meals (besides breakfast). I did not make some brown gravy tonight to mix with them so they would taste a little different and they did not taste good!!! Nope, not me!

I have not spent the whole day at my mom's since she was out of school today. The kids did not lock themselves in Mom's room during what was supposed to me their naptime. And Mom and I did not bust out laughing. Nope, not us!

Today I did not read Angie's post on Scarves and Prayers and I did not link on over to Brandi's blog and watch her hilarious video about tying scarves. And I did not go over to Big Mama's blog and watch her video on How To Tie One On. Then I did not go buy two $5 scarves (one pink and one black) at Walmart just like Brandi was telling us. And I am not planning on wearing on tomorrow.

I am reading the Bible through chronologically and I am not two days behind. Nope, not me! I really need to get off of here.

I did not just take pictures of instant potatoes and my Bible reading. Nope, not me! Good night!
