"I will not leave you comfortless; I will come to you." John 14:18 (KJV)
Isn't that comforting? I'm sure I've read this before, but it struck a different and beautiful chord in me this morning. He will not leave us comfortless. He means it when He says 'I will come to you.'
Thank you, Lord, for your Holy Spirit that longs to comfort us in our suffering. We trust in your promise that joy comes in the morning; that your grace will be sufficient and your power will be made perfect in our weakness.
"God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection." 2 Samuel 22:31

Hi there... I just wanted you to know that I gained much encouragement from your post today. Thank you for that. And thank you for having a link about my son's situation on your site. So many people visit our site through yours and I wanted to express my deepest appreciation to you for that blessing. Hugs to you!
Thank you for sharing this!!! I have heard bits of Proverbs 31 Ministries on the radio, but today I subscribe to their daily devotional. Thank you for posting the link. Today's devotional uses a verse that impacted me greatly right after our loss in February.
I LOVE GOD!!!
