Cousins

The kids LOVED staying in the hotel this week. (I must admit that I did, too!) Here is a picture of them sleeping the last night in the hotel. The girl was cuddling with her baby brother. It was so sweet. Jim and I are so blessed to have children who love each other and play so well together.

On Friday afternoon, we drove from Ft. Worth to visit my cousin. The kids have been so excited all week to play with their cousins. Jeremy is married to Alisha. They have two little boys, T1 and T2. T1 is in Kindergarten and the girl loves playing with him. T2 just turned 2, so he's just a few months younger than the boy; except the boy thinks T2 is a baby. I think because the boy is always the youngest and now that he was around someone that was younger, he thought he could pick on him. Poor T2. The kids actually are not true cousins. Since Jeremy is my cousin, his kids are my 2nd cousins; so T1 and T2 are my kids' 3rd cousins. That is wierd because they are so close. They had so much fun playing together.

Jeremy and Jim figured out that they both like to eat cold hotdogs right out of the fridge. Alisha and I were disgusted. This was them eating their cold hotdogs at 10:30 last night. Gag me with a spoon!

T1 had a T-ball game this afternoon so we went to watch his game.

The girl has gotten really good at doing the monkey bars.

She did them over and over and over again and even got a small blister on her palm. She is SO strong. I never could do the monkey bars at the kid. Could you do them?

Alisha and me

Thanks Alisha and Jeremy for having us in your home this weekend. We enjoyed our time together. Especially our late night talks, even though it was past your bedtime!ha! And I know the kids loved being together!

Awwww...I wish I could have been there...and I know Paula would like to have been there, too! I'm glad you all enjoy being together! Such cute kids (and that's no bias on my part, even if they are my grandkids and nephews!ha!)

I love the way you tell your stories with photos embedded. I'm new to the blogging world, and I can't figure out how to do text-picture-text-picture-text like you do. Can you give me some tips?
