Saturday evening, we drove to Kerrville for his grandmother's 85th birthday. Omi is such a wonderful lady with a beautiful heart. From the first time I met her at a family get-together when Jim and I were dating up to this day, she hugs me and kisses me on the cheek when she sees me. She is the most vibrant 85 year old I know. She loves her family and adores her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Yes, she is a great-great-grandmother. She is so good at sending birthday and anniversary cards to us and our kids. She swam at the girl's birthday party last summer. Isn't that cool? She loves to swim.
So...To Omi -- here's to many more years and a life full of blessings from the Lord. We love you!
Here are some pictures from the party.

Yes, I'm really that short.
(Actually I'm wearing about 1 1/2 in heels, too, so I'm that much shorter.)
