Jim is playing in the Bentwood Partnership this weekend. It's a golf tournament. The biggest one of the year. Thanks to my wonderful and kind mother, my kids will be with her most of the weekend so that Jim and I can enjoy ourselves. And they may be with my awesome sister-in-law for a little while, too. During the day, I'll follow him around watching him play, and then when he's finished, we'll follow other players around. I'm pretty excited! Jim and I looking forward to it! And I think he's got a good chance of winning his flight, so we will see. I'll be updating via Twitter, so follow me here to see how he's doing. And how I'm doing in the heat. :) Accoring to Wunderground, it's supposed to cool off to 99 degrees instead of 100 or 101, so maybe 1 or 2 degrees will make a difference???
Friday and Saturday night, they have these parties where the wife/date is invited. Friday night is indoors for a party with cocktails and hor d'oeuvres, so I'm assuming it's a little dressy. Saturday night is just a party outdoors with dinner and live entertainment, so I'm assuming a little more casual?
I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO WEAR! Seriously, I have never worried this much about what to wear since highschool when I had to decide what I was going to wear to school or to church. And I think I'm stressing Jim out about it. He doesn't know why I'm "making such a big deal out of it." So, since he's not much help, I need your help.
Any suggestions???
My friend Erin is coming into town because her hubby is playing. I texted her about it, but she doesn't know what she's wearing either. She said she's bringing several options. So she's going to come over on Thursday and we'll help each other decide.
But I will take any suggestions into consideration....so, please...

Mt cousin Karl Pfluger (remember him from CHS and his wife/my friend Cecilie) are playing in it too! (Karl and his father in-law are playing actually) Anyway, I'd wear white pants and a breezy/cute top on Saturday night. I think you're right more casual, but summery cute. Maybe a flowy dress in lite cotton. Good luck and have fun! Tell Will (Erin's Will) I said hi! He and his dad and Seth and my dad used to play in this tournament every year!
I would probably wear a cute black dress...NOTHING fancy...just super cute with some extra hot heels & bling! =) Then to the outdoor fiesta I'd probably wear jeans or white pants with a cute top. Whatever you wear, I'm sure you'll luck super cute and don't forget to take pics for us all!
