Bentwood Partnership

Jim played in the Bentwood Partnership Golf Tournament this weekend. Thanks to my parents and sister and Jim's mom and sister, Jim and I enjoyed a weekend to ourselves while the kids stayed with them. It was great! I followed Jim around in our personal golf cart and watched him play. I've never really watched him play a game of golf and I have a new respect for the game. It's a tough game! And I also understand it so it's a lot more fun to watch. Oh, and I forgot my camera all weekend, so all these pictures were taken with my Blackberry, so they aren't that great!

The first day, Jim and his partner got paired with Will and his wife Erin, who are friends of ours, so Erin rode with me for a while. It was fun to see them.

The party on Friday night. Can you tell Jim didn't want his picture taken with that sarcastic smile? He hates taking pictures. Oh, and I ended up wearing my dressy jeans, a black top, and heels. And no, I didn't get a picture.

Playing Saturday afternoon. It was hot! His tee time wasn't till 2:24pm.

Playing Sunday morning. They had a rough start and didn't play very good the front nine.

Putting on Hole #7. This is the hole where we got our family pictures taken. He putted in for birdie and made it!

And...

He and his partner won their flight!!! This was the first year Jim had played in this tournament, so we are very excited and I am a very proud wife! They ended up playing really good on the back nine and made four birdies. So they scored even par for the day and won!!! :)

YAY!!!

I went to pick up the kids from Mom's and we rode around a little more to watch some of our friends who were still playing.

It was a very fun weekend and I am tired today, but I'm ready for next year! :)
