Christmas Tour of Homes

BooMamaChristmasTour

Welcome to the Honea Home! So glad you came to enjoy my Christmas decorations as much as I enjoy them!

My dad made the nativity scene for my birthday one year and I love it!
(Please excuse the scarecrow still on the front porch. This picture was actually taken several weeks ago and I wasn't quite finished putting away the fall stuff when Jim put the lights up. They are in the attic now, thank you very much.)
Our artificial tree that I love! It's new to us this year. One of our friends was throwing it away last year and Jim said he would take it! And I think it's beautiful! It's a pre-lit, which I've never had and it was VERY easy to put up!
We don't have a mantle above our fireplace so I stuffed our stockings with newspaper and leaned them up against the wall near the tree.

This is a huge wreath I made one year.
This is my favorite Christmas decoration. I've been tempted to leave it out all year long because I love it so much. My father-in-law bought it all for me one year for Christmas and my birthday.
Here is our Advent Calendar. The kids look forward to opening the doors every day.
This sits on my kitchen counter. The sleigh is where I keep all my Christmas cards. The little baggies are "Reindeer Food" that I made for the kids' friends at school. It's oats, popcorn kernels and glitter, and the poem says, "Sprinkle of the lawn at night. The moon will make it sparkle right. As Santa's reindeer fly and roam, this will guide them to your home!"

Just another little corner in my kitchen.

Some mistletoe I hung up for our Small Group Christmas Party and just haven't taken it down...it's festive!

This picture is in the kids' bathroom. The left picture is the girl as Christmas when she was 5 months and the right is me when I was one at Christmas.

The girl's little tree. Excuse the messy kitchen. She loves to sleep with it lit.
Thanks for stopping by!

Thank you for your sweet comment, your house looks beautiful! I love the lights down the walkway outside, it makes me wish we had a walkway to decorate! I also love the straw under the nativity scene, I will have to "borrow" that idea next year! :) Happy Holidays!

We say it like pony too, but my father in law has brothers that say honey. So, I guess it depends on who you are talking too! We are in Huntsville, AL.
Too funny that I found you...
Merry Christmas!

What a beautiful home. My mom has the Willow Tree nativity set and leaves it out all year, but she doesn't have the stable/hay. I want to start collecting the pieces to have my own.

Ash - let me know when you are ready to go to Pottery Ranch. I'll go. I've been dying to do something new. I'm sure they can still get the trees. But I would bet that they are out now. It came with the cord and the little lights, too. I love it. My mom has a big one that she painted *years* ago.

I love Willow Tree. I have the same Nativity set and absolutely LOVE it as well.
Happy Anniversary, too! Time flys by so fast doesn't it? Nick and I will celebrate 6 years at the end of the month. :)
