Today I had a little Christmas party for the girl and three of her friends. The girl was very excited about them coming over. I read the story Who Was Born this Special Day? by Eve Bunting. It is a very sweet book and the illustrations are beautiful! Then I had a bunch of little crafts planned, and they did some, but they wanted to play most of all. So that is what we did most of the time. They did get some suncatcher ornaments painted and made a little card for their parents. They played inside and outside and had a blast playing together!
The girls painting a few ornaments. I have to tell you something funny. I got all the stuff out and then two of them say, "Oh, I hope I don't get paint on my shirt..." I said, "Well, I can fix that!" So I got some of my t-shirts. Then (this is really funny), both the same two again said, "Put it on real careful so you don't mess up my hair!" Ha! I love it! Stephanie, your girl did get some paint on her sleeve. You can see it sticking out from under my t-shirt she is wearing. So she put one of my girl's shirts on and I sprayed it with Shout and rinsed most of it out! Sorry!!!

The Diva Girl!, The Sweet Girl, The Princess, and My girl, the Tomboy! (and nothing mean meant by that...she truly is a tomboy and I think it's cute!) I think Diva Girl and Tomboy Girl might have gotten mixed up at birth because Diva Girl could SO be my girly daughter! I am not the sporty type that my girl is - Kim is the sporty type. I told Kim that I guess God made us friends so we could bounce ideas off each other!

Thank you so much for having this! I think it is a wonderful idea, and I am on board with Kim! A tradition sounds great!
About the shirt...I am so relieved! I just hate that little shirt...hehehe...and she wants to wear it all the time!
And the elf thing was adorable. So funny!
How precious! I know the pictures only show a glimpse of all the fun the girls had! I hope they remain close friends through the coming years. I'm glad you are all making it a tradition...and giving your daughters special memories!
Oh how I wish we could've made it! Thanks for the long-distance invite anyways! I know Beth would fit right in and they'd all have a ball. I know I would with the mommies!!!!
These pictures are so cute! I'm so glad that Ryann has good friends as these!
