More Good News!
Okay, some more good news! The boy did not cry today when I dropped him off at Mother's Day Out! YAY!!! I set him down and he started to whimper and had a really sad face. I said, "Look at Mama. I am going to come back and get you. I will be back in a little while." And he looked at me with trustworthy eyes and said, "Otay." When I picked him up, he was smiling and his teachers said he did great! Praise the Lord! He just had to get used to it. I was talking to Jim this morning while we were getting ready and a thought crossed my mind. The girl started full-time daycare at 6 months old because I started my student-teaching (with the best teacher ever, Terri Young! I only have to say that because she reads this blog). Even though the girl quit full-time daycare after I finished student-teaching, she still was in Mother's Day Out and has been away from me like that since she was a baby. The boy, on the other hand, has not. Just at church nursery; and last year he went one day a week to a different Mother's Day Out program. All that to say that I am very proud of my little boy and I know that soon, very soon, he will be excited to go to school! My grandparents are in town this week from Ft. Stockton. I called them when I was on my way to pick the kids up and asked if they wanted to meet me there to see the kids. They were excited I called and the girl and the boy were very excited and surprised to see them!

I think I would be the one crying! That is tough...
Yeah--I remember days of little tears. Luke still has days like that once in a while. It really tugs at your heart strings.
